Costs of transport are rising steeply in England - and are now £2,000 per pupil

If school transport had continued to be provided in England as it is elsewhere in the UK, more than 1.2 million children would be travelling by bus in England each day - in comparison to the 560,000 who are....that is equivalent to 243 million additional car journeys each year.
